Gender reveals are so exciting!

I’ll admit my husband was more excited for our gender reveal party than I was. But once we started talking about what we were going to do, I definitely got into it! There are so many options like getting other children involved to having a sports themed gender reveal or something simple like cake!

I have to start with this one since this is what my husband and I did. This was so much fun! It took a little bit longer than we thought it would (because my husband sucked at hitting the balloons haha!). The balloons were filled with different colored powders and obviously one balloon had the gender of our baby.

Best advice is to have only ONE person you know won’t say anything to anyone to fill the balloons. We actually made it to the very last balloon to find out we were having a boy! I definitely recommend this game if you want something to be involved in and want to build some anticipation.

Confetti cannons can be so fun and exciting! Everyone loves confetti… well maybe not the person cleaning it up. This is perfect if you want something with excitement but you want to find out the gender quick! This is also perfect for other kiddos to find out what their sibling is! 3. Cake

Cake reveals are classic. They’re perfect for a more intimate party or if it’s just you and your partner. Cake reveals are so easy and no hassle. You can actually have your doctor write what the gender is and they’ll stick it in an envelope and you can bring it to a bakery! How much easier does it get?!

4. Sports

These are perfect for huge sports fans! Or if you’re husband isn’t really into the whole gender reveal thing but likes sports. I’ve seen so many cool ones. You could do baseball, football, golf even hockey. Skeet shooting is another fun one if your family likes to hunt! Since gender reveals have become so popular, you can find all these online. Etsy has a lot!!

5. Balloon Box

Balloons are so easy yet fun. You just need a big box and balloons! Some one you trust will have to pick out the right balloons and stick them in the box. Then just lift off the lid and bam, you know what you’re having! Plus side- there’s no mess to clean up. And if you have other kids, they can play with the balloons. It’s a win-win for everyone!
