Do you need a last-minute but thoughtful gift for Mother’s Day 2022?
Mother’s day 2022 will be here in just a few short days. If you’ve forgotten to get your wife/girlfriend a Mother’s Day gift, I’ve got you covered!
We don’t always want extravagant gifts. Although, they can be nice
Sometimes simple things can make us happy like getting a little extra time to ourselves. Because honestly, that doesn’t happen very often. We also like getting something handmade from our babies.
Mother’s Day is a day to recognize the amazing, exhausted, and selfless mothers. Don’t let all her hard work go unnoticed. Appreciate her for everything she does for you and your children.
There are a few small gifts/gestures you can make/do for that special mother in your life that will definitely be appreciated.
1. Sleeping In
This is the BEST gift you can give a mom on Mother’s Day! We haven’t had a good night’s sleep since our babies were born. We’re usually up early getting the kids fed and ready for the day. Or we’re up all night when the kids are sick. One day to sleep in will help us feel refreshed and recharged.
2. Breakfast in bed
What’s better than not having to make breakfast for everyone else? Getting breakfast served in bed! Make her favorite pancakes, french toast or an omelet with a big cup of coffee! Feeding a woman will make her a lot happier than you think!
3. Handmade card/craft
This one is my favorite. Handmade cards/crafts are just priceless. I love seeing my son’s little handprint on a card. Don’t forget to add the year so we can watch our littles grow! Pinterest has many DIY cards and crafts for Mother’s Day.
4. Favorite home-cooked meal
In *most* homes, the mother usually does the cooking. Take this day as an opportunity to make her a dish she loves. Even if it doesn’t turn out perfect, the thought is what matters. Don’t forget to clean up too!
5. Do the house chores
Not having to vacuum, do the laundry and wash the dishes sounds like a dream to me. Help mom out on Mother’s Day and do the weekly or daily chores for her so she doesn’t have to and can just relax.
These thoughtful gifts are simple and free. But I promise they will definitely be appreciated. Please give those momma’s in your life the love and appreciation they deserve!
